Time of our lives

Our third time here ,as always absolutely spot on . We have our unit stored here (very reasonably priced) whenever we come down it is always towed out and pitched perfectly ,even down to legs down ,locks on ,and wheels chocked up to make it perfectly level ,hats off to Barry ( i think thats his name ) no complaints at all ,this time we stayed on Fox area ,perfect for us as it is lovely and quiet ,1 min from shower block which is kept in pristine condition . Ideal location for exploring the north and south coast of Cornwall . If you want a 5 star gold standard caravan this is a must . Congrats to all who own and work here ,well done .

Just had a wonderful holiday here. Facilities for children are great, lovely playground with trampolines, football field & a games room/arcade.
The small pool is great for children.
Love the way the pitches are separated with hedges. We stayed on a “Gold XL” pitch & it was great for extra space for gazebo, BBQ etc.
Also allowed campfire & can hire fire pits onsite.
They have a self-check in, so simple, you just pick up your own welcome instructions from reception & find your pitch. Help is easily available if needed - just call the number in the reception area.
This was our 1st stay here & would love to return again. Perfect location for easy access to north and south coast beaches

Lovely, Well Kept Site

Fantastic site, showers and toilets always clean, swimming pool perfect for the kids, play area great with 2 huge trampolines, fire pits allowed, dog friendly.
Close to local shops if you need to pop out but also had that feel of being in the countryside. We honestly could not fault this site, it's so well kept with a lovely quiet feel.
We can't wait to return again soon!

WOW – I think we’ve found the best campsite in Cornwall, our first visit but we will be returning soon!
Large level pitches with hedges in between and open space for the kids to play.
Fantastic facilities including play park, dog walking area, games room and most importantly the indoor swimming pool that was heated! An absolute gem to find on a smaller holiday park.
The facilities were always spotless with the staff cleaning 3 times a day – a super helpful and friendly team that offered support over the phone with making the booking and were seemingly always on hand for anything we needed (like extra logs for our campfire at 7pm).

Great location for getting out and about to visit different locations, we visited Falmouth, Penzance, St Ives, Porthleven and Gwithian Beach with ease.

Hoping to visit again this summer with extended family on one of the double pitches.

Thanks again for your help Lanyon team.

Fantastic site! On entering the site you are met by extremely well kept areas surrounding holiday cabins. You then drive round to the reception area where you are met with equally well kept areas including a lovely fish pond. The pitches themselves do not disappoint either. We stayed on the paddock which is a wonderfully peaceful and private area. Kept in immaculate condition. Having walked around the site, I can say all pitches are given the same treatment.
Showers and toilets were kept clean and in working condition. Kids play park is well cared for and has a thoughtful selection to cater for most ages of children. Swimming pool is great, it perfectly balances being big enough to swim but not so big that it excludes younger children. Washing up facilities and laundry facilities are also adequate. All staff/management encountered during our stay were not only helpful but genuinely nice people. Peaceful and family friendly do not normally co-exist at campsites. However, at Lanyon they do. They provide entertainment for children whilst managing to keep it peaceful! To summarise - if you're looking for a quiet, well maintained and well situated site to enjoy Cornwall. Lanyon is perfect.

We’ve just had a great stay at Lanyon. We camped on the XL gold pitch and wow it was huge. Plenty of space for us and our friends we went with. 8 of us in total.
Facilities were always clean, park area was loved by the children and a great addition to have the indoor heated swimming pool. Staff were so lovely, we certainly will be back!
We also had pizza from the pizza van that visited the site. Great pizzas and great service.Stayed recently to survey the local Basset Mines. Staff were on hand to point me in the right direction.

Just spent the bank holiday weekend at Lanyon Holiday Park and had a lovely time. The children had fun in the heated indoor pool and they really enjoyed the outdoor play area. The pitch was great with hedges between each plot for privacy. The site was very quiet and toilets/showers were very clean. We also popped into the two local village pubs who were both very welcoming with the Sportsman's arms doing a cracking breakfast!
Will definitely be staying again

Stayed recently to survey the local Basset Mines. Staff were on hand to point me in the right direction.
First impressions were great and it's obvious to see that the park is well managed. I was chuffed that the person I spoke with knew the history of the nearby mines at Carnkie.
With retirement not far off will definitely be back , this time for a longer stay. Well done to the whole team at Lanyon. This is why I don't go abroad.
Thanks again. See you again

I stayed here for a week camping with my family. It was a return visit as we also stayed here last year. We booked 2 pitches in the Starling field which is situated away from the other fields and only has 4 pitches. The football pitch is opposite which was great for my son and nephew.

The campsite is in a great location for exploring Cornwall, has good clean facilities and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Will be returning again next time we are in Cornwall.

Beautiful site, clean, great facilities and friendly, efficient staff. Great base to explore Cornwall. Our pitch had water and electric, and was close to beautifully clean showers and toilets. Family feel to the site, quiet by ten and nothing too much trouble for staff. Absolutely lovely stay -would highly recommend.
